The Bible also speaks to us about things “new” as a result of receiving Jesus Christ into our lives. First and foremost, Jesus gives us a NEW LIFE. The Bible says that Jesus came to give us more abundant life! God’s word also declares that if any man (human) be in Christ, that person is a new creation—old things have passed away and all things have become new!
Are you tired of your “old” life and “old” way of thinking? Consider Jesus! Not only does Jesus Christ offer new life, He also guaranteed us NEW POWER in the Holy Spirit! He stated, “You will receive power after the Holy Spirit is come upon you, and you will be my witnesses!” The power we receive from the Holy Spirit gives us victory over sin, self, and Satan. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Finally, we receive NEW HOPE. This world of troubles and pain is not the final home of the believer! Jesus offers us eternal life, and has gone to heaven to prepare a mansion for all who believe. Best of all, He promises fellowship with Him forever! Why not make this, the year you receive Jesus, giving you spiritual life, power for victorious living, and a sure and eternal hope!.
